For individuals considering enrolling on this programme, or for organisations commissioning staff places, this programme requires attendance and engagement in classroom sessions alongside self-directed study. Candidates will be required to complete a professional portfolio and undertake an assessed teaching practice. The programme is equivalent to 120 hours learning time (20 days) over a six-month period, this includes 48 hours (8 days) facilitated sessions, and 72 hours (12 days) independent and peer study hours. Additional tutorial support and group/peer activities will be scheduled throughout the programme for students to arrange around their work schedule as convenient. The next cohort of the taught programme starts in September 2023. There will be 7 live online classroom sessions, candidates will be required to attend 80% of these sessions and make up the time with other guided learning activities if they are unable to attend the scheduled session – arrangements can be made with your tutor where necessary either before your course starts or during the programme.
